BIOLOGY LAB

BIOLOGY LABORATORY At KDPS we have a well-equipped and well ventilated Biology laboratory that caters to students from Nursery to A levels. Having excellent lighting facilities as well as all the apparatus, it has a wide range of sensors used by students for advanced research in the areas of their interests. The specimens, permanent slides and charts enhance the teaching - learning process resulting in individual growth. The integration of theory and practical provides hands on learning experience to the students that motivates them towards further research and development.

PHYSICS LAB

PHYSICS LAB The students are provided with a well-equipped Physics Laboratory where practical classes are designed to complement materials that have been presented in theory lessons. Students spend considerable parts of their time doing a wide range of practical or laboratory work. Here the learning is very 'hands on' and classes are designed to allow students to develop a wide range of techniques and personal skills. Besides, Students here get exposed to conventional methods as well as highly sophisticated techniques of data collection using software based sensors.

CHEMISTRY LAB

CHEMISTRY LAB KDPS has a well-resourced chemistry lab with up-to-date apparatus as well as required chemicals that caters the students from primary to the secondary level. Keeping the latest curriculum in mind the lab is furnished with spectrophotometer, conductivity meter, vacuum pump and other necessary assets such as distillation assembly, stirrer, heating mantle to provide the students with an integrated approach where theory and practical are mingled in a planned way. Besides, in accordance with the international standard our lab has eyewash, shower and fume hood to ensure the safety of students while conducting experiments.

ACTIVITY ROOMS

Today world is driven by technology. It is a world of technology that opens new avenues for the students to explore. Making use of latest methodologies, the school has accelerated package which will turn every class into an existing voyage of discovery filled with visuals, graphics and sound. The school has got two ultra modern computer labs with forty computers with internet facility and one audio visual room to transform teaching through educational CD's and advanced equipments.

LIBRARY

School aims at making learning a fun process, there is an assortment of books, magazines and news paper available for hobby-related books, books on travel, drama, reference books, competition books short stories, poetry, astrology many other topics.

Recently a new section of E-learning have been added in library comprises hundreds of CDs on different topics.

AUDITORIUMS

The school has got a world class auditorium with latest amenities. The seating capacity of the auditorium is 1200. The auditorium also has two international standard badminton courts. The students get ample chances to explore their talents because of this wonderful auditorium.

INFIRMARY

The school has a medical room equipped with first aid facilities for almost all emergencies and run by a full time well qualified and experienced A-Grade Nurse. Periodic medical checkups are done by a team of doctors comprising of physicians, dentists, ophthalmologists etc. form SHARP and proper medical record of each child is maintained.

SPORTS GROUND

It is a perfect place for developing a sportsmanship and sporting skill amongst students. It has 2 basket ball courts, 1 Volley ball court, a cricket pitch and a big playground for playing other sports and games like Kho-Kho, football, hand ball etc. These facilities coupled with well qualified PETs help in realising the school’s dream of making a child skilled in atleast one game of his/her interest.

COMPUTER LAB

TRANSPORT

The School provides transport facilities but offers no guarantee that a seat in the School Vehicle will be available, when the vehicles are full to capacity or do not ply in the area of the residence. It will be the responsibility of the parents/guardians to drop/collect the child from te specified vehicle stop.

Parents are requested not to enter school buses to see off and receive their wards. Parents should not try to overtake and stop the School bus to facilitate the boarding of their wards as this endangers the safety of the bus and its occupants. This act would lead to strict disciplinary action.
